Meet our Construction Team:


Shane Fletcher

Senior Construction Inspector


Mr. Fletcher has more than 24-years of experience in the construction inspection and construction materials testing services industry. He began his career in 1995 when he started as an entry level inspector on Road and Bridge projects for the District 4 Florida Department of Transportation. During his tenure with FDOT, Shane took on roles of increasing responsibility and was promoted through the ranks of Inspector and Senior Inspector. After leaving the FDOT, Shane worked in various inspection capacities, including oversight of multiple private development projects, large-scale water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects, and transportation infrastructure projects. Upon relocating to Tennessee, Shane began working as an Assistant Construction Manager on SPLOST funded projects for Whitfield County, GA and as Construction Inspector overseeing various TDOT Roadway and Bridge construction Projects in Region 2.

 

Ryan Schroering

Construction Inspector | Stormwater Inspector| Soil Scientist


Mr. Schroering joined Asa as a entry-level EPSC and Construction Inspector in August of 2017 after graduating from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. degree in Geology - Environmental Geology. While Ryan is utilized in both our construction and environmental services, typical construction elements for which he provides inspection oversight includes: linear buried utility installation; roadway subgrade, mass grading operations, base and pavement operations; underground and surface drainage, curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway apron concrete placement; signing, striping, directional lighting and pavement marking operations; and erosion prevention and sediment control (EPSC) inspection and reporting.

 

Mike Bucholtz

Senior Construction Inspector - Nashville, TN

Mr. Bucholtz has been a senior road and bridge construction inspector for 30 years and has a proven track record with being on time and within budget. He has overseen $5 million to $20 million federal and locally funded construction projects for Macomb County, MI. Using his supervision skills, Mr. Bucholtz has worked directly with engineers to review and revise construction plans, proposals, and schedules. He has also communicated directly with senior management, local governments, utility companies, and contractors to prevent conflicts, delays, and issues both before and during construction.
