Rachel Tranel - P.E., LEED AP

Director of Civil Engineering | Senior Projects Manager

Ms. Tranel has over 20 years of experience in civil engineering. Her robust skillset in site/civil engineering design and project management has given her diversified experience in land development engineering, site feasibility studies, municipal and roadway improvements, and stormwater management.  Ms. Tranel has overseen numerous projects for both private and public sector clients throughout the United States from preliminary stages through successful project closeout.  Her technical abilities include site design, grading, utility design, roadway design, and permitting. 

 

Christian Sawyer - EIT

Associate Engineer

Mr. Sawyer joined Asa Engineering & Consulting, Inc as an intern in 2021. After obtaining his Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga that same year, he joined the Asa team as a full time associate engineer. He has experience in civil site design, grading, stormwater management, urban drainage planning, and technical report writing.

 

Matthew Sayne - EIT

Associate Engineer

Mr. Sayne has 6 over years of experience in Civil Engineering. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with his bachelors of science in Civil Engineering in 2016 and joined Asa Engineering & Consulting, Inc in the summer of 2023. His experience includes grading and drainage plans, road design, SWPPPs, stormwater planning, and DOT permits.

 

Stephen Humble

Senior Designer

Mr. Humble has over 20 years of experience as a civil engineering designer and joined the Asa Engineering & Consulting, Inc. team in 2022. His years of experience have allowed him to communicate with engineers and other designers to complete projects in a timely and satisfactory manner. He has experience in grading, road layout, and storm drainage systems, sanitary sewer as well as water mains for industrial, commercial, and residential projects all over the United States.

 

Aaron Worley

Design Technician

Mr. Worley graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2022 with his Bachelors of Science degree in Mechatronics. He joined the Asa team shortly after in 2023. His experience includes reading and analyzing blueprints and computer-aided design.
