2017 MainX24 Adult Big Wheel - A Race for Shelley
The MainX24 Adult Big Wheel Race is an annual event that takes place after the conclusion of the MainX24 parade on the Southside of downtown Chattanooga. This year will feature two separate races and race locations:
Adult Big Wheel Relay Race - The main race is comprised of approximately twenty-four (24) co-ed teams of 18+ year old adults who compete in 3-team relay heats around the race course. The trikes have hard, plastic, slick surfaced rear wheels that slide with every hard turn. Wipe-outs are inevitable!
Where: Choo Choo Hotel Gardens (behind the main hotel lobby)
When: 30 minutes after conclusion of the MainX24 Parade
Teams: Approximately 24 teams of four (must be 2-men & 2-women)
Format: Double Elimination
