East Ridge Animal Shelter

Asa was selected by the City of East Ridge and MBI Architects in the fall of 2023 to provide land planning, land surveying, environmental consulting, civil engineering site design, and construction contract administration on East Ridge’s new Animal Services facility in East Ridge.

The new 4,850 SF shelter was designed to house 30 dog kennels with outside runs and drains for ease of cleaning.  Polymer coating on the walls and floors allow for easy cleaning and a self-watering feature has been added to each kennel.  Other new amenities include two large play areas, isolation room, exam room, grooming room, laundry room, and food preparation room. The new shelter in East Ridge is the only no-kill shelter in Hamilton County.
